I am an Assistant Professor in the Post-Graduate Department of Economics, University of Kashmir. My teaching interests include the Indian Economy, Microeconomics, and Writing & Communication Skills. My research focuses on capabilities & human development, gender, social exclusion, and the implications of artificial intelligence for inclusive development. My academic work is particularly concerned with understanding development through the lens of equity, dignity, and social justice, with special attention to women and marginalised communities. Prior to joining the University of Kashmir, I served as a Lecturer (academic arrangement) in the Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
