Smart Classrooms

The department boasts three modern classrooms designed to enhance the learning experience. Each classroom is equipped with interactive smartboards that facilitate dynamic teaching methods, high-speed LAN connectivity for seamless digital access, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable environment. These technologically advanced spaces support multimedia presentations, online resources, and virtual collaborations, making learning more engaging and efficient.

  

 

   

Library

Our well-equipped, air-conditioned library houses over 13,000 books, covering various economic disciplines. It subscribes to leading Indian newspapers, periodicals, and magazines. Additionally, it features a dedicated Nobel Laureate Gallery showcasing the contributions of renowned economists.

   

 

Census Workstation & Conference Facilities

The department hosts a dedicated census workstation with a server containing Census India data (since 1871), NSSO datasets, and other economic surveys. The conference hall is equipped with smartboards and video conferencing facilities for academic discussions and seminars.

   

 

 

Research Facility

The department offers a dedicated research facility room for scholars, providing a productive workspace equipped with fully LAN- and Wi-Fi-enabled computers. The lab features individually separated seating areas, ensuring a focused and conducive environment for academic research and data analysis. This facility supports advanced research in economics by offering access to essential digital tools, datasets, and statistical software.

 

            

 

Gender Specific Facilities

A dedicated common room provides female students with a comfortable space for relaxation. The department also features separate washroom block for girls and specially-abled, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
