Tentative Title of PhD: Impact of Just Energy Transition and Energy Poverty on Health Outcomes in Emerging Asian Economies: A Panel Data Analysis.

Abstract: This study examines the impact of just energy transition and energy poverty on health outcomes in emerging Asian economies during 2000–2024 using panel data analysis. It considers indicators such as renewable energy consumption, clean energy investment, electricity access, clean cooking fuel access, and energy affordability, while health outcomes include life expectancy, infant and under-five mortality, respiratory diseases, and pollution-related mortality. Control variables include GDP per capita, CO₂ emissions, and healthcare expenditure. The study employs advanced panel econometric techniques, including FE/RE models, Panel ARDL, FMOLS/DOLS, cointegration, causality tests, and System GMM, to analyze the role of inclusive energy transition policies.
