Abstract

Over the past few decades, the E-7 countries (India, Brazil, Russia, China, Indonesia, Turkey, and Mexico) have experienced substantial economic growth. However, this growth has been accompanied by a notable rise in energy consumption and environmental degradation. Against this backdrop, this study significantly contributes to the existing literature in several ways. Firstly, it examines the fundamental drivers of the Green Growth in E7 economies. Secondly, the current study will investigate the determinants of Load Capacity Factor (LCF). Thirdly, the current study will focus on the role of FDI on CO₂ emissions mediating and moderating the role of energy consumption and environmental policy stringency, respectively.
