Central Bank Independence plays a pivotal role in shaping macroeconomic stability and policy effectiveness, particularly in developing economies characterized by institutional fragility and political volatility. By insulating monetary policy from short-term political influences, CBI fosters an environment conducive to sustained economic growth, low inflation, and financial stability. This study examines the impact of institutional quality on the relationship between CBI and inflation, exploring how governance structures shape monetary outcomes. Additionally, it investigates the link between CBI and income inequality, assessing whether an independent central bank contributes to a more equitable economic landscape. Furthermore, the research delves into the role of CBI in financial development, analysing its influence on financial sector expansion and access to inclusive financial services. By addressing these critical intersections, this study provides empirical understandings that can inform policy reforms and enhance economic governance in developing economies.
