Our Research Group at the Department of Economics University of Kashmir is currently exploring micro and macro level dimensions of economic development with a focus on Jammu and Kashmir. Based on largescale unit level data we are trying to sift, document and model Individual, household and firm based economic behaviours. Further an attempt is underway to conduct baseline surveys in Jammu and Kashmir for better understanding of the results generated from secondary data.

 

Economic Inequality, Wellbeing alongside Labor market Studies, program evaluations and Institutional dimensions of development are of interest to us. 

 

 

                        Research Collaborations & Internships with focus on Jammu and Kashmir  in any of these areas are welcome.
