Assistant Professor

Our Research Group at the Department of Economics University of Kashmir is currently exploring micro and macro level economic dimensions of development with a focus on Jammu and Kashmir. Based on largescale unit level data we are trying to sift, document and model Individual, household and firm based economic behaviours. Further an attempt is underway to conduct baseline surveys in the state of Jammu and Kashmir for better understanding of the results generated from secondary data sources. Economic Inequality, Wellbeing alongside Labor market Studies, program evaluations and Instituional dimensions of development are of interest to us. Interns in any of these areas are welcome to connect.
