OUTREACH

The Department of Economics got in touch with a colony situated on Four-Shore road where the residents had suffered major loss of property due to unprecedented rains that caused devastating floods in the valley 0n 7^th of September, 2014. In this regard, the students and faculty members of the department flocked together to provide assistance both in cash and kind to the needy.

The outreach programme was organized in the month of October, 2014 at the Duck Park situated on the bank of Dal Lake on Four- Shore road where the affected people assembled and the aid was distributed to them under the supervision of Prof.Effat Yasmin (H.O.D) and other faculty members of the Department of economics.
